Abstract:
A cut pile towel loom, comprising a pile shaft, a wool shaft and bottom shaft let-off mechanisms (4, 2, 3) which feed pile warp (7), wool warp (5) and bottom warp (6) to connect a numerically controlled moving reed napping and beating-up mechanism (10) by means of warp stop mechanisms (8) and a shedding mechanism; the shedding mechanism implements different texture shedding for each weft for upper wool warp, upper bottom warp, the pile warp (7), lower bottom warp and lower wool warp that pass through different healds thereof; the numerically controlled moving reed napping and beating-up mechanism (10) connects and weaves the pile warp (7) in the middle of upper and lower bottom yarn fabrics such that a hollow pile is high; filament of the numerically controlled moving reed napping and beating-up mechanism (10) is beaten up on an upper surface of the upper bottom yarn fabric and a lower surface of the lower bottom yarn fabric to loop wool yarn; the upper and lower bottom yarn fabrics are looped and the middles are provided with yarn fabric, forming a fabric for which one side is suede and one side is looped piles after piles are cut in the middle by means of a dual layer cutting mechanism (12). The loom has simple structure, is highly efficient in weaving, is low cost and is good quality.
