Abstract:
Provided is an easy-to-use cutting device that can easily open a section of an eggshell-shaped object and use the result as a container. An egg cracking machine 100K according to the present invention comprises: a grip body 101K that an operator grips during use; and a substantially cylindrical cutting blade body 102K that is attached to the grip body 101K and has a blade surface, said blade surface being continuous in a circumferential direction. Additionally, the egg cracking machine 100K comprises: a location sensor 608 that is provided to the grip body 101K and is for positioning the center axis of an eggshell 20 on the center axis of the cutting blade body 102K when cutting the eggshell 20 with the cutting blade body 102K; and a suction mechanism 602 that is provided to the grip body 101K and is for retaining the eggshell 20 in a condition in which the center axis of the eggshell 20 has been positioned on the center axis of the cutting blade body 102K.
