Abstract:
A cutting insert according to the present disclosure is provided with a top surface and cutting edges. The top surface further has a first surface and a second surface that is located at an inner side of the first surface. The first surface has a first region that is located along a first cutting edge, a second region that is adjacent to the first region, and a third region that is adjacent to the second region and that is located along a second cutting edge. The second surface has a fourth region that corresponds to the first region, a fifth region that corresponds to the second region, and a sixth region that corresponds to the third region. The width (W72) of the second region is less than the width (W71) of the first region and the width (W73) of the third region, and the inclination angle (θ92) of the fifth region is less than the inclination angle (θ91) of the fourth region and the inclination angle (θ93) of the sixth region.
