Abstract:
Provided are: a cyclohexylbenzene production method with which cyclohexylbenzene can be obtained with high selectivity; and a cyclohexylbenzene composition using the same. Provided is a cyclohexylbenzene production method comprising a step for bringing a raw material that includes benzene and cyclohexene or cyclohexanol into contact with a solid acid catalyst so as to cause an alkylation reaction, wherein the solid acid catalyst is a silica-alumina catalyst or an MTW zeolite catalyst.
