Abstract:
A working piston (32) is slidably fitted in a cylinder main body (31), with a rod (34) integrally formed on one surface of the working piston (32). The rod (34) projects to the outside through one end of the cylinder main body (31) and receives a load at its front end. A floating piston (32) is separably disposed in the cylinder main body (31) adjacent the floating piston (35) on the side opposite to the rod side of the working piston (32), the floating piston (35) being airtightly slidably fitted in the cylinder main body (31) through a seal (36) fitted on the peripheral surface of the piston. The rod side surface and the opposite side surface of the working piston (32) communicate with each other through a vent hole (37). Even when a torsional moment load acts on the rod (34), the resulting moment load will not be transmitted to the floating piston (35), so that the durability of the seal (36) fitted on the peripheral surface of the floating piston (35) can be improved.
