Abstract:

In a cylinder lock in which a rotated member is rotationally driven in response to a rotation operation by the correct mechanical key inserted into a keyhole, a first rotor is linked to an outer cylinder so as to enable movement along the insertion direction of the mechanical key while disabling relative rotation, a second rotor abuts the first rotor from the side opposite of a rotor bearing part provided on the housing or the outer cylinder and is linked to the rotated member so as to enable movement along the insertion direction and to disable relative rotation; during rotation of the outer cylinder in response to an irregular rotation operation of the inner cylinder, the first rotor and the second rotor move away from the rotor bearing part by means of a cam mechanism between the first rotor and the housing, releasing the engagement of the inner cylinder to the second rotor, which is linked to the rotated member so as to disable relative rotation. By this means, anti-theft properties are achieved with a simple and compact structure.
