A damping device for a textile machine. The device comprises a bottom plate, a brakeable damping wheel mechanism being mounted on the bottom of the bottom plate, and the brakeable damping wheel mechanism comprising a wheel assembly and a brake assembly. The top of the bottom plate is connected to a lifting platform by means of an automatic lifting mechanism, the automatic lifting mechanism comprising an active lifting assembly and a passive lifting assembly. The inside of the lifting platform is connected to a damping platform by means of a vertical damping mechanism, and pressing damping mechanisms are symmetrically mounted on the left and right inner walls of the lifting platform. In the braekable damping wheel mechanism of the present damping device for a textile machine, the vertical damping mechanism and the pressing damping mechanisms can be kept stable during operation of the textile machine and achieve damping, thus improving protection of the textile machine. Meanwhile, the automatic lifting mechanism can also adjust the height of the textile machine on the basis of working requirements.
