Abstract:
This data collection device is provided with: an input unit to which a detection result (heat flux) of a heat flow sensor that is provided in a bearing is input; and a control device which is configured to collect and store the sensor detection result input to the input unit in a prescribed sampling period. The control device takes the sample period as a first period when the magnitude of the heat flux is smaller than a switching threshold, switches the sample period into a second period, which is shorter than the first period, when the magnitude of the heat flux is larger than the switching threshold, and determines whether there is a sign of abnormality in the bearing by using the rate of change in heat flux collected in the second period.
