Abstract:
This data flow control apparatus extracts a device capable of providing data that satisfies requirements of an application, by matching device-side metadata to application-side metadata. When the extracted device is a virtual device that generates new data on the basis of the data obtained from one or more source devices and that outputs the generated data as virtual data, the data flow control apparatus transmits a data flow control command 1 for instructing the transmission of data from the source device to the virtual device, and also transmits a data flow control command 2 for instructing the transmission of virtual data from the virtual device to the application.
