Abstract:
This data generation system comprises: an acquisition unit that acquires the time when each product passed each of a first point on a production line and a second point different from the first point on the production line; a calculation unit that calculates the position of each product between the first point and the second point at each selected time on the basis of information relating to the layout of the production line and the times when each product passed the first point and the second point, as acquired by the acquisition unit, and on the basis of an overall downtime, which is the time when the entire production line was stopped, individual downtimes, which are the times when each product was retrieved from the production line, and area downtimes, which are the times when some areas of the production line were stopped; and an output unit that outputs the results of the calculation by the calculation unit.
