Abstract:
Provided is a data processing system 10 comprising one GPU 14 and a switch command unit 44. The GPU 14 executes, through time-sharing, a plurality of data generation processes which correspond to a plurality of applications executed in parallel. When the GPU 14 completes a data generation process for one unit of data which corresponds to a first application and is to be handed off to a subsequent processing unit, the switch command unit 44 makes an instruction to switch to an image generation process which corresponds to a second application which differs from the first application.
