Provided are a data transmission method under Wi-Fi peer-to-peer (P2P), and an electronic device. The method is applied to a system comprising a first electronic device and a second electronic device, the first electronic device being a GC device in a Wi-Fi peer-to-peer group, and the second electronic device being a GO device in the Wi-Fi peer-to-peer group. The method comprises: a first electronic device and a second electronic device transmitting data of a first service by means of a first Wi-Fi peer-to-peer link; the first electronic device receiving a first operation of a user, wherein the first operation is used for sending data of a second service to the second electronic device, and the second service is different from the first service; and the first electronic device sending the data of the second service to the second electronic device by means of the first Wi-Fi peer-to-peer link. By means of the method provided in the present application, a Wi-Fi P2P link between GC devices and between GO devices can be multiplexed, so that a variety of different services can be transmitted by means of the Wi-Fi P2P connection at the same time, thereby improving the user experience.
