Abstract:
This decision system is provided with: an image-capturing data acquisition device which captures an image of a printed surface of printed matter and acquires image-capturing data of the captured image; and a decision device which decides on a printing method of the printed surface of the printed matter that is captured by the image-capturing data acquisition device on the basis of image capturing data acquired by the image-capturing data acquisition device, wherein the decision device selects a decision area included in the captured image from the image-capturing data acquired by the image-capturing data acquisition device, extracts an edge part image for deciding from the periphery of the end part of the decision image of black included in the selected decision area; acquires differential data that is a gradation difference between two colors among gradation data of RGB colors on the extracted end part image for deciding, acquires a decision value for deciding on the printing method of the printed surface of the printed matter on the basis of the acquired differential data, and decides on the printing method of the printed surface of the printed matter on the basis of the acquired decision value.
