Title:
DECORATION YARN AND SPANGLE STITCHING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/096656
Kind Code:
A2
Abstract:
The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for guiding the left/right reciprocating motion of a steel band more effectively and preventing the steel band from being sheared. A conventional decoration yarn and spangle stitching apparatus is difficult to provide an operating rate more than 180 stitches per minute resulting from the shearing of the steel band. However, the decoration yarn and spangle stitching apparatus of the present invention prevents the shearing of the steel band to greatly improve the operating rate. The decoration yarn and spangle stitching apparatus of the present invention comprises: the steel band which is formed with a plurality of grooves at regular intervals; a cord gear which rotates forward or backward in communication with the reciprocating motion of the steel band and guides the decoration yarn; and a steel band driving device which drives the steel band. The steel band driving device is respectively installed to both sides of the steel band, and has two driving units. The two driving units of the steel band driving device are synchronized with each other to rotate forward or backward. An outer groove is formed on the outer circumference of a pulley in communication with each of the two driving units so that one side of a steel wire is wound and the other side thereof is connected to the steel band through a connection portion.
