Abstract:
Provided is a decorative laminate, the design layer of which has excellent design image clarity and the clear layer of which has excellent surface smoothness after a cover film is removed therefrom. Also provided is a method for producing a decorative laminate. A decorative laminate containing a cover film, a clear layer, a design layer, a substrate film and an adhesive layer which are adjacent to one another in this order, wherein the cover film is heat-laminated onto the clear layer, the design layer is a coating film of a coating material for use as a design layer, and the clear layer is a coating film of a coating material for use as a clear layer. This method for producing a decorative laminate includes: (A) a step for forming a design layer by coating a coating material for use as a design layer onto one surface of a substrate film; (B) a step for forming a clear layer by coating a coating material for use as a clear layer onto the surface of the design layer; (C) a step for heat-laminating a cover film onto the surface of the clear layer; and (D) a step for forming an adhesive layer on the surface of the substrate film which is opposite the surface thereof on which the design layer is formed.
