Title:
DEGREE OF CONCENTRATION DETERMINATION DEVICE, DEGREE OF CONCENTRATION DETERMINATION METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR DETERMINING DEGREE OF CONCENTRATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/168051
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Driving safety and driving comfort are both taken into consideration. A degree of concentration determination device comprises: a monitoring data acquisition unit that acquires monitoring data from a sensor for monitoring a driver of a vehicle; a degree of concentration estimation unit that estimates a first driving degree of concentration of the driver on the basis of one or more indexes constituting a first index group from the monitoring data when the driving mode of the vehicle is an automatic driving mode, and estimates a second driving degree of concentration of the driver on the basis of one or more indexes constituting a second index group, which is different from the first index group, from the monitoring data when the driving mode is a manual driving mode; a standard comparison unit that compares the first driving degree of concentration or the second driving degree of concentration with a standard; and a signal output unit that outputs an instruction signal instructing to execute assistance for the driver when the first driving degree of concentration or the second driving degree of concentration does not meet the standard.
