Abstract:
The invention relates to a demountable furniture piece in the form of a table, or a piece of seating furniture, comprising a plate (10), supported on at least one stand (13), comprising two, crossed, interconnected bearers (2) which are identical in outline and formed symmetrically about the longitudinal centre line and the transverse centre line thereof, with two projecting feet pieces (3) on both longitudinal ends. Each bearer (2) has a slot (4) running along the transverse centre line thereof, which is open to the one longitudinal end thereof and in which the other bearer (2) is inserted in a crossed manner. The slot base (7) of the one bearer (2) is supported on the slot base (7) of the other bearer (2) and the plate (10) has four recesses (11) on the underside thereof into which the feet pieces (3), on the longitudinal end of the bearers (2) facing the plate, extend with a snug fit. The invention further relates to a screw device (6), comprising a headed screw (14) with a mounting bush (19) on the screw shaft (16) thereof, between which and the screw head (15) a pressure spring (18) is arranged. The mounting bush (19) is supported by a nut (20) which is fixed to the screw shaft (16).
