Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a dental handpiece in which an IC tag can easily be disposed and used. A dental handpiece (1) has a handpiece head (2) provided to a distal-end part, a connection part (3) provided to a rear-end part, a plurality of metal-made pipes (4, 5) for communicating the handpiece head (2) and the connection part (3), and an elastic resin member (6) mounted so as to cover the metal-made pipes (4, 5) from the rear-end part of the handpiece head (2) to the distal-end part of the connection part (3), the connection part (3) being connected to a dental unit and used. An IC tag (9) is provided inside the elastic resin member (6).
