Abstract:
The technical objective of the present invention is to provide a dental panoramic imaging apparatus capable of more accurately performing X-ray imaging by aligning the apparatus at positions to be examined according to the type of patient to be examined. In order to achieve said objective, the dental panoramic X-ray imaging apparatus of the present invention includes a light source installed on the hand frame of the panoramic X-ray imaging apparatus for emitting light downward, and a cover installed at the bottom where the light is emitted from the light source and having an indicator which can align the position of the person to be examined in order to image said person. In the present invention, the position at which a patient to be examined should stand in order to be X-ray imaged can be easily displayed according to the type of patient to be examined. Accordingly, the operator of the dental panoramic imaging apparatus is spared having to undergo the complicated process of having to communicate a plurality of times with the patient to be examined in order to accurately align the position of said person to be examined. Also, it is possible to optimally align the position of patients to be examined whether said patients are adult males or women or children, or even persons with disabilities, which leads to an improvement in the accuracy of dental panoramic imaging.
