Abstract:
Provided are a denture and a mounting attachment therefor that offer a wearer thereof an excellent wearing feel and a comfortable biting experience during meals, since: even if the wearer applies a strong bite with the denture, a denture engagement protrusion (210) on the upper side of an abutment tooth formed using an implant is configured to slidably come into abutment along an inner peripheral surface of an abutment tooth engagement recess (130) according to the manner in which biting force is applied, thereby allowing the orientation of the denture with respect to the abutment tooth to change within a predetermined range; and, by having at least a portion of a denture base (120) pressed against the gum (800) so as to cause the gum to be compressed, biting can take place as the biting force is absorbed by a compression repulsive force coming from the gum as a result of the gum squashing at least a portion of a bottom surface of the denture base.
