Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to overcome problems in the acquisition of a DNA aptamer in the conventional methods, including the lack of variety of interactions with target molecules, the increase in the cost for aptamer acquisition by post modification, and the limitation of target molecule species associated with electric charges, and to provide a technique for obtaining a highly active aptamer as cheaply as possible. Provided is a nucleoside or nucleotide having a structure represented by formula I as a base. In formula I, R1 represents a substituted C1-C3 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C4-C9 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group.
