Abstract:
This detachable multi-ring traction device that is inserted into a person's body through a forceps channel of an endoscope is configured to be secured to a diseased mucosa in the body and a normal mucosa opposite the diseased mucosa with a clip to pull the diseased mucosa when the diseased mucosa is excised by manipulation from outside the body. The detachable multi-ring traction device comprises a plurality of toroidal rings each having a large circle and a small circle, the rings being connected to one another such that two adjoining rings are linked in the diameter direction of the large circles with the outer edge portions of the two rings in contact with each other.
