Abstract:
Provided are a detection system, a suspended device, and a detection method capable of detecting a situation below the water surface under various environments. A flying body 1, including an unmanned flying body, such as a drone, and a suspended device 2 which is suspended from the flying body 1 by a string-shaped body 3 are used so as to detect a situation below the water surface, for example, to measure the seafloor topography. The suspended device 2 is formed, for example, by providing a rod-shaped body 20 with an on-water unit 21, a float 23, and an in-water unit 22. The on-water unit 21 includes a communication antenna 211 required for obtaining position information, such as radio waves, from a GPS satellite, and the in-water unit 22 includes a detection part (measurement part 222) for detecting the situation below the water surface. A result of detection by the detection part is recorded in association with the position information.
