The present invention addresses the problem of developing: a method for efficiently collecting a long bagworm silk thread without causing slack in winding during thread collection while preventing diversion of the spinning direction of a bagworm or separation from a linear path and at the same time, reducing the burden on a bagworm; and a device for implementing a production method of such a bagworm silk thread.　Provided is a bagworm silk thread collection device which comprises: a movable annular linear path that is configured to be capable of catching legs of a bagworm and to move in a longitudinal direction; a retainer for retaining a bagworm; and an adhesion controller which stores therein an adhesion regulating liquid that cleanses or removes an adhesive component of the bagworm silk thread spun on the movable annular linear path. The collection device is capable of accumulating the silk thread spun by a bagworm on the movable annular linear path.
