Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention, which pertains to the field of medicine, is to create a complex system for treating chronical prostatitis, wherein said system uses simultaneously several physical factors and synchronises them together and also synchronises them biologically with the patient's heartbeat. This system comprises several modules, i.e. an electric laser module, a photo-vacuum module as well as a magnetic laser module which are used during an electrophoresis or a phonophoresis. This invention also relates to new modifications concerning urethral and rectal catheters using a plurality of cylindrical electrodes as well as a matrix of outer electrodes. This invention further proposes improvements concerning the electrical contact between the electrodes and the biological tissues which involve the use of a unit for supplying an electroconductive solution as well as the possibility to enlarge the outer diameter of the electrodes. This invention also relates to the use of a semiconductor laser emitting in the red domain of the spectrum and to the use of an uninterrupted semiconductor laser emitting in the infrared domain of the spectrum, the radiation being transmitted through an optical light guide. The biological feedback-link system further includes new temperature sensors (by contact or remotely), a unit for controlling the volt-ampere characteristics of the electric stimulator and acoustic vibration sensors. The photo-vacuum therapy unit is characterised in that a vacuum massage unit is combined with a photomatrix system. The introduction of a magnetic laser module allows for the combined use of a pulse field together with a laser or LED therapeutic system.
