Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for detecting the end of a bobbin thread of a sewing machine and a method for controlling the same and, more specifically, to a bobbin thread (10) which is distinguished in color from a middle-wound thread; and a device for detecting the end of a bobbin thread of a sewing machine and a method for controlling the same, the device and the method determining the state of the bobbin thread (10) on the basis of sequentially stored detection information (I) of a light sensor (20) which detects the intensity of light.
