Abstract:
A device for guiding a moving handrail of a passenger conveyor is provided with: a guard rail disposed on a peripheral edge part of a banister, the guard rail guiding a moving handrail; a plurality of rollers disposed at a curved section of the guard rail; and a plurality of chain pieces for supporting the plurality of rollers. Each of the chain pieces supports a plurality of rollers arranged laterally. A link shaft and a link shaft hole are provided to each of the chain pieces. With regards to chain pieces adjacent to each other in the direction of movement of the moving handrail, the link shaft of one of the chain pieces is connected to the link shaft hole of the other chain piece.
