Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (3) for heat exchange, comprising elastocaloric strips (5) consisting of an elastocaloric material and heat-conducting elelements (1, 2). These are embodied such that a biconvex section of a heat-conducting element engages in at least one elastocaloric strip, deforming same such that an elastocaloric effect is achieved and heat conduction takes place between the at least one elastocaloric strip (5, 5') and the biconvex section of the heat-conducting element (1, 2). In addition, they are embodied such that a planar section of another heat-conducting element (2, 1) is in contact with the elastocaloric strip, in the undeformed state of same, such that heat is conducted between the planar section of the other heat-conducting element (2, 1) and the at least one elastocaloric strip. The heat-conducting elements (1, 2) are each embodied both with a biconvex section and a planar section.
