CLAIMS

Claim 1 The device for applying, drying and activating hot glue on a packaging [amended] machine, according to a primary (basic) construction/application variant, characterized by the fact that two assemblies (1) for applying and drying the glue are positioned on the plates (3) of the machine (M); that they are made up of holder (11), which are slidably mounted - the front end - on the linear guideway (32), that the linear guideway (32) is fastened, via connection plate (33), between the plates (3); that one device (12) for applying hot glue is attached to each holder (11) directly above the linear guideway (32), while a number of fans (13) are attached along the holder (11), above the device (12) and on the opposite side; that the heater (4) is horizontally attached to the carrier (42) and placed in the opening (43) on the plate (41), while the strip heater (7) is made up of an infinite Teflon belt (71) and vertical heaters (72).

Claim 2 The device for applying, drying and activating hot glue on a packaging [amended] machine, according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that assemblies (2, 2’) that are coming out of holders (21, 22) are positioned on the plates (3); that the holder (21) is slidably mounted on the linear guideway (36) which is attached to the plate (3) via connection plates (37, 38); that the holder (21) is slidably and movably mounted on the linear guideway (34) which is attached to the plate (3) via a connection plate (35); that one device (12) is attached to the holder (21), just above the linear guideway (34) while a number of fans (13) are attached alongside it, above the device (12); that the holder (22) is slidably mounted on the linear guideway (36), while its other end is slidingly mounted on the linear guideway (32) which is attached to the plate (3) via a connection plate (33); that the device (12) is positioned on the holder (22), on the inside, just above the linear guideway (32), while a large number of fans (13) is positioned along the holder (22), above the device.

Claim 3 The device for applying, drying and activating hot glue on a packaging [amended] machine, according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that heaters (4, 10

72) are connected to the controller (82) by use of connections (821); that the fans (13) and the device (12) are interconnected by connections (834) also to their own controller (84), which is connected to the controller (83) by use of connections (831, 832); that the controller (82) is connected to the subprocessor (81) by way of connection (811), with which the controller (83) is also connected using a connection (813); and that the subprocessor (81) is an integral part of the processor (8) of the machine (M).

Claim 4 The method of applying, drying and activating hot glue on the packaging [amended] machine itself, according to claim 1, characterised by the fact that paper (5) is introduced from roll (51) under the holder (11); that devices (12) apply hot glue to the top side of the paper in a continuous strip (61) and in a discontinuous strip (62); that strips of glue (61, 62) are dried by fans (13) and further transported, together with the paper (5), through the machine (M); that once the product is packaged, packages reach a horizontal heater (4) which activates the glue (61, 62) on the bottom side of the package, after which product packages pass between vertical heaters (72) which activate the glue on the sides of packages.

Claim 5 The method of applying, drying and activating hot glue on a packaging [amended] machine itself, according to claim 2, characterised by the fact that paper (5) is introduced from the roll (51) under the holder (21) and above the holder (22); that the device (12) applies hot glue to the top side of the paper (5) from the holder (21) in a continuous strip (61); that the device (12) applies glue to the bottom side of the paper (5) from the holder (22) in a continuous/discontinuous strip (6G); that strips of glue (61, 6G) are dried by fans (13) and further transported, together with the paper (5), through the machine (M), that once the product is packaged, packages reach a horizontal heater (4) which activates the glue (61, 62) on the bottom side of the package, after which product packages pass between vertical heaters (72) which activate the glue on the sides of packages.
