Abstract:
A transmission control unit has a solenoid management controller that supplies an offset current value to a release solenoid of a release-side friction engagement element among a plurality of clutch solenoids that respectively control shifting hydraulic pressure to a plurality of friction engagement elements. When the sum of the current values supplied to the plurality of clutch solenoids exceeds a predetermined value, the solenoid management controller lowers the current value supplied to at least one of the release solenoids that supply offset current values to a value below the offset current value, and supplies the lowered current value.
