Abstract:
A gear change ECU for a CVT sets, in accordance with a stepping operation of a brake pedal by a driver, the target input rotational frequency (Nin*) such that the gear change ratio of the CVT continuously changes towards the downshift side in a plurality of steps, and sets, on the basis of the time intervals (tint(1)), (tint(2)), … between gear changes during continuous execution of downshifts which change the gear change ratio in steps, the target input rotational frequency (Nin*) such that the greater the number of downshifts executed, the longer the time interval between continuous downshifts.
