Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a device and a method for estimating a state of charge capable of accurately estimating an open-circuit voltage and a state of charge of a battery cell even when a voltage configuration of the battery cell is nonlinear. According to one aspect of the present invention, the device for estimating a state of charge has the advantage of being able to estimate the state of charge of a battery cell more accurately with high reliability. In addition, the device for estimating a state of charge estimates a second state of charge on the basis of voltage information acquired during a charging/discharging interruption time, such that the device can quickly estimate the final state of charge of the battery cell even in an environment where it is difficult to ensure a sufficient rest time.
