Abstract:
Disclosed is a 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a data transmission rate higher than that of a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). A method by which a terminal operates in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving, from a base station, control information for grant-free communication; and generating a reference signal by using one sequence among sequences included in sequence set information on the reference signal included in the control information, and transmitting, to the base station, the reference signal and a data signal by using grant-free resource region information included in the control information. The one sequence is used for an identification of the terminal by the base station.
