Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device and method for implementing dynamic tactile feedback of a flexible object, and more specifically to: a device for enabling the recognition of a continuous change in the stiffness of a flexible object resulting from a dynamic reaction of the object; and a method for enabling the recognition of such change through the controlling of the device. Provided, according to the present invention, are: a device which enables a user to continuously control the stiffness of the device which is used as a tool for haptic feedback, and thus enables more various virtual world senses, linked with virtual reality or augmented reality content, to be expressed by being directly linked with the length, shape, texture, etc. of a virtual object; and a method for enabling the implementation of various virtual world senses through such device.
