Abstract:
A tire wear measurement device 10 according to the present invention, which detects a magnetic field M induced by a magnetic body 11 embedded in a tread 22 of a tire 20 and which measures a wear degree of the tire 20 from a change in the magnetic field M, is provided with: a first magnetic field detection unit 12 disposed at a position that enables detection of a magnetic field M induced by the magnetic body 11; and a second magnetic field detection unit 13 disposed at a position where the strength of the magnetic field M induced by the magnetic body 11 is different from that at the position of the first magnetic detection unit 12. Hence, this tire wear measurement device is able to detect wear of a tire with a high degree of precision while minimizing the influence of external magnetic fields such as geomagnetism.
