Abstract:
Disclosed are a device and a method for postprocessing a polyolefin powder. The device for postprocessing comprises a steamer and a drier, wherein a discharge port of the steamer is connected to the drier, the steamer is a cylinder body with a conical bottom, the cylinder body is divided into two sections, i.e. an upper section and a lower section, the upper portion is a powder feeding section, and the lower portion is a heating section; the powder feeding section is provided therein with a powder distribution plate, which has an open porosity of 30-70%; the lower portion of the cylinder body of the steamer is the heating section, the heating section is provided therein with one or more layers of internally installed detachable plate-type heat exchange assemblies, and each layer of plate-type heat exchange assembly is composed of multiple heat exchange plates; the conical bottom of the cylinder body is provided thereon with a steamer cone replacement steam annular distributor in communication with the cylinder body; and the structure of the drier is the same as that of the steamer. The device for postprocessing is used in the method, and the method comprises the following steps: 1) steaming of a polyolefin powder; and 2) drying of the polyolefin powder. The method can address the technical defects of polyolefin powder having a long residence time, and of polyolefin powder not being able to be in full reverse contact with replacement gas, which causes powder leaving a devolatilizer to still carry many hydrocarbons.
