Abstract:
A device and a method for preventing an overshoot voltage caused by a reverse current, relating to the technical field of electronics. The device comprises a current detection circuit, a current comparison circuit and an overvoltage protection circuit; the current detection circuit has an input end connected to a voltage output circuit, and is configured for detecting a circuit current and determining a current direction; the current comparison circuit has an input end connected to two ends of the current detection circuit, and is configured for comparing voltage values of the two ends of the current detection circuit and determining to output a high level or a low level to the overvoltage protection circuit; the overvoltage protection circuit has an input end connected to an output end of the current comparison circuit, and an output end connected to the voltage output circuit, and is configured for realizing overvoltage protection by pulling down an input voltage of the voltage output circuit. The present invention uses a comparator to compare voltages at two ends of a resistor, and performs actions according to a state of the current, so as to ensure that the protection is performed before the reverse current reaches the input end, achieving the effects of early detection, stable threshold, high reliability and rapid reaction.
