Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (1) for testing and/or maintaining a hose (2), in particular a fire hose, comprising at least one connection fitting (3), a reel (6) and a winding device, wherein the device (1) comprises a traction device (8) and a sliding surface (5) and the connection fitting (3) is mounted on the traction device (8) and is movable with the traction device (8) relative to the sliding surface (5). The invention further relates to a method for testing and/or maintaining a hose (2), in particular a fire hose, in which, after being cleaned in a washing device (20), the hose (2) is filled at least in some sections with compressed fluid in order to test the leak tightness of the hose (2).
