Abstract:
The present invention relates to a movement device (1) for moving a load provided with wheels and rolling on railway rails, comprising at least: - a geared motor (8) of which the shaft (9) has a horizontal axis of rotation, - a drive roller (10) rotated by the shaft (9) of the geared motor (8), and - two support rollers (11) rotated by adhesion by said drive roller (10), said movement device (1) being characterised in that it comprises at least: - an arm (12) secured by one of its ends to the shaft (9) of the geared motor (8) and extending horizontally and perpendicularly to said axis of rotation, and - a brake shoe (13) secured to the free end of said arm (12) and configured so as to be placed in the vicinity of said wheel (R) of the load to be moved on the side opposite to said drive roller (10).
