Title:
DEVICE FOR ROTATING VANES IN TUBE BY MEANS OF ELECTROMAGNET
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/108064
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Since the rotation of the vanes of a fan or a screw in the conventional art was achieved by transmitting the rotation of a central shaft thereto, a large torque was necessary and a high-output power source was required. In this invention, the principle of driving of a linear motor is used such that a torque is applied to the outer frame of the vanes to rotate the vanes, and thus, a large torque as in the conventional art is no longer necessary, whereby energy efficiency is improved. Further, since the torque is provided electrically, noise and oscillation are reduced. Moreover, in this invention, the screw and a tube transmit torque by means of an electromagnetic force via a partition, and therefore, no liquid-tight device is required, whereby the configuration is simplified.
