Device for squeezing fruit (3) in a beverage, in particular citrus fruit, comprising an elongate member (10) and a squeezing surface (11) for squeezing said fruit, wherein the device furthermore comprises fruit holding means (12) arranged to hold the fruit. Preferably the fruit holding means are arranged to hold the fruit on the squeezing surface.
