Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1988/003362
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Device for supporting and moving eggs in the hatchery with several types of devices which are coupled and uncoupled, horizontal base or small ditch which supports the egg keeping it in the desired inclination and make it turn around its longer axle in the hatchery. The device which can be coupled and uncoupled on a horizontal tray base. It comprises two vertical latches (9) (11). In the middle of one latch there are triangular or round holes (10). The other latch has in its upper part ''U'' shaped grooves (11) to house the neck (3) of clamps formed of two wire rings (2) which extend themselves and join making a neck (3) and a base axle (6). On the wire edges (18) which form the base axle (16) is assembled a small wheel (4). A tape or ruler (24) at the bottom of the ditch moves in one continuous or intermittent direction or other.

Description:
Descriptive Report of Patent of Invention of DEVICE SUPPORTING AND MOVING EGGS IN THE HATCHERY. The present invention refers to several devices tha support the egg holding it in the desired inclinatio - and make them turn around their longest axle. The de vices are coupled and easily uncoupled and may be re placed by devices with larger or smaller clamps accor ing to the size of egg.

Rotary movement of this device is made by a group o - interconnected parts supported by a horizontal bas (7) in the form of metal or plastic tray and a bridg or more bridges, being stiff or intermittent wir screen or spring (15) attached to the bridge (14) whe in tangencial movement with the base (7) according t - calculation of continuous or intermittent speed make the small rubber or plastic wheel (4), being it groo ved or smooth, makes the device, in its desired incli nation (17) in relation to the egg (1), turn aroun its longer axle in the hatchery. - The device is comprised of clamps in the form of tw rings (2) that extend themselves and come together fo ming a neck (3) and base axle (16) and fitted betwee them is the smaller axle (5) with a head (6) which se - ves to couple the device to the base of the longe axle formed by the edges (18) of the rings (2) an smaller axle (5) and are held by small metal or plasti

tubes at the bifurcation of the two rings becoming th neck (3) of the device. On the wire edges (18) tha form the base axle (16) is assembled the small rubbe or plastic wheel (4) which is locked not to slid. O - the horizontal base, tray type, in the oval opening(8 with two vertical latches accompanying the device axl angle. On latch (9) slightly bentdownwards where ther is a triangular or circular (10) opening (10) which b comes narrower on the upper part where the head (6) o - the smaller axle (5) crosses, coupling it (upward pre sure does not allow it to uncouple). On the opposit side of the opening to the other latch (11) slightl inclined over the oval opening (8) accompanying th inclination of the axle (16) of the device, on it - upper part the "U" shaped groove (11) for the nec housing (3) of the device, to uncouple the device on raises and removes the axle head very easily. Sheet (2) - Fig. (6) shows a device whose axle (12)wi the head (6) is attached to the base on the side par - of the oval opening (8) with the determined inclina tion. Inside of the longer axle of the device (16) thi re is a plastic bushing with flexible edges (21) whic become larger in order to allow coupling of the hea (6) of the axle (12) holding it and thus completing c - pling of the device. One uncouples it pulling it.

The small wheel (4) is moved by the tangencial moveme of the bridge (14) of the base (7) using spring (15)a a contact. This device can be made with one sole plas tic piece with the egg clamps (1) flexible, small me - tal axle (5) cast inside the longer axle (16) piec of the axle (5) with the head (6) exposed. In order t keep the device with the egg (1) in a higher positio there is a small spare part (19) made out of folde i n inner roove 20) an

with identical opening in the "U" shaped form (11) keep the higher inclination of the egg. Horizontal supporting base in the form of a small di (23) with triangular (10) or circular (10) opening b - co ing narrower on the upper part (10) in the si part of the small ditch where the axle (5) head ( crosses coupling it; in this case it is used the dev ce which has the smaller axle (5) with the head ( built in the device. On the opposite side of the si - of the small ditch (23) in the "U" shaped form groo (11) to support the neck (3) of the device that mov around its longer axle through the tape or ruler (2 in the bottom of the ditch there may exist grooves dents which avoid the sliding of the small wheel (4 - the tape moves in one continuous or intermittent dir tion, there is a short axle (29) on the two sides the ditch (23) which fits on the ruler base (25) the ditches inside the groove (27) which is "U" shap the inclination movement is made by means of a lev - (26) of command and its smaller axle built in t small ditch.

In the drawings that accompany and integrate the pre sent report one can see on pages 1, 2, 3, figures to 10 several groups of devices P.1(1) Fig. 1, 2, 3 - side view and cut of the device, Fig.(l) side view the device with the egg (1) held already fitted in t rings (2) neck metal tube (3) which holds a small ax and the ring edges (18) hollowed wheel (4) serves move the device, the small axle (5) horizontal ba - where is an oval opening (8) where the small whe (4) - Fig.2 - Cut of the device and its egg group ( already housed in the clamping ring (2) made of wir neck metal tube (3) which holds a wire edge (18) ax
