Abstract:
Disclosed is a diagnosis method which enables the diagnosis of steatohepatitis
in a simpler manner than a conventional liver biopsy. The diagnosis method comprises
the steps of: measuring a choline level in a blood-derived sample collected from
a subject; and determining the occurrence of a fatty liver disease, the severity
of the disease or the efficacy of a therapy on the disease based on the choline level.
