A die used for preparing a macromolecular polymer film (4) and a method for preparing a macromolecular polymer film (4), the die comprising positioning markers (11, 12, 13), a template (1) and a cutting part (2); the positioning markers (11, 12, 13) are arranged on the template (1) according to a preset film forming size and a preset cutting size such that the template (1) is divided into a film forming area having the same size as the preset film forming size and an area to be shielded having the same size as the preset cutting size, the cutting part being disposed according to the positioning markers in the area to be shielded by using a dismountable manner, wherein the cutting part and the area to be shielded have the same shape. The preparation method comprises: coating a macromolecular polymer slurry (3) on the die; degassing the die and heating the degassed die; separating the cutting part on the die and the macromolecular polymer slurry coated on the cutting part; continuing to heat the die until the macromolecular polymer slurry is completely cured to form a macromolecular polymer film (4) having the preset film forming size. The die and method overcome the shortcomings wherein a process is complex and precision is low when preparing a macromolecular polymer film.
