Abstract:
[Problem] Spectral noise generated due to the diffraction phenomenon of a periodic structure can be reduced to improve the homogeneity of the intensity of linear diffused light, and noise of 0th-order diffracted light can be reduced to improve light distribution. [Solution] A microlens array-type diffusion plate 1, which emits linear diffused light, comprises: a substrate 10; and a plurality of cylindrical lenses 21 arranged in the X direction on an XY plane of the substrate 10 and including convex portions or concave portions extending in the Y direction. The X-direction aperture width D and the radius of curvature R of each of the cylindrical lenses 21 randomly fluctuate, within fluctuation ranges defined by fluctuation full width ratios δD and δR, with respect to a reference aperture width Dk and a reference radius of curvature Rk. The eccentricity Ec of each of the cylindrical lenses 21 randomly fluctuates within a fluctuation range defined by a fluctuation full width ratio δEc. δD, δR, and δEc satisfy Equation (1), and at least one among δD and δR is not 0%.
