Abstract:
For example, while a digital broadcast is being received by a mobile device, an instantaneous interruption would make the data discontinuous, causing disturbance of a comfortable viewing of the program. For this reason, when sending out digital broadcast data, a broadcast station doubles the digital broadcast data with a time shift given, thereby allowing a receiver terminal to reproduce the time-shifted digital data beforehand received and stored in a buffer of the receiver terminal even when an instantaneous interruption of broadcast data occurs on the receiver side. In this way, a reduction of chance of the occurrence of an instantaneous interruption of the corresponding data at the same time can reduce the chance of stoppage of video and/or audio output to be presented for the viewer, thereby providing a digital broadcast such that a viewer feels less stress. Besides, the type of digital data received from a tansmitting station is recognized on the data platform in a receiver terminal, thereby allowing the digital contents to be normally viewed by the single terminal whether the digital data corresponding to an instantaneous interruption or the digital data not corresponding thereto is received.
