Abstract:
A dimension measurement device (100) comprises a processor and memory. Using the memory, the processor acquires a three-dimensional model of a target object (S61), selects one of a plurality of basic shapes that are candidates for a three-dimensional shape (S62), fits the selected basic shape to the three-dimensional model (S63), and uses the fitted basic shape to measure the dimensions of the target object (S64). The dimension measurement device (100) may, for example, display display content for a user to designate one of the plurality of basic shapes at a display and select one of the plurality of basic shapes on the basis of information designated by the user via an input interface.
