Abstract:
The present invention provides: a dimmer sheet capable of easily covering the edge of a liquid crystal layer by a sealing material; and a dimmer device. The present invention is provided with: a first film (11) having the obverse surface (10F) of the dimmer sheet (10) and provided with a transparent electrode layer (11A); a second film (12) having the reverse surface (10B) of the dimmer sheet and provided with a transparent electrode layer (12A); a liquid crystal layer (13) positioned between the first and second films; and a sealing material (21) that covers an edge (13E) of the liquid crystal layer. The second film is provided with a second film contact surface (12C) opposite to the reverse surface and including a part which comes into contact with the liquid crystal layer. When viewed from a position opposite to the obverse surface, the second film contact surface is provided with a second film outer peripheral part (12CD) directed to the position opposing the obverse surface without overlapping the first film and the liquid crystal layer along the edge of the liquid crystal layer. The sealing material is supported by the second film outer peripheral part.
