Abstract:
This disc brake device comprises a protection member 7 that: is installed on a slide pin 4 that is positioned on a turn-in side of a rotor R or a slide pin 4 that is positioned on a turn-out side of the rotor R; or is separately installed on each of the slide pin 4 that is positioned on the turn-in side of the rotor R and the slide pin 4 that is positioned on the turn-out side of the rotor R. The protection member 7 comprises: an installation part 71 that, with a shaft part 42 inserted therethrough, is sandwiched and held by a head part 41 and a caliper 3; and a protection part 72 that extends from the installation part 71 and is arranged on an outer circumferential side of a slide region 422 that is positioned between the caliper 3 and a mount 2.
