Abstract:
In the present invention a caliper body has integrally formed therein a cylinder part which is arranged on one side of a disc in the axial direction and in which a bore for accommodating a piston is formed, an extended part one end of which is continuous with the bore bottom of the cylinder part, and which extends in a direction away from the disc and is provided with a lever member, and a guide attachment part to which a cable guide member is secured. The guide attachment part is formed protruding from the extended part in the rotation direction of the disk, on the other end of the extended part in the direction away from the disc. The other end of the extended part, together with the guide attachment part, forms a shape that is substantially rectangular in a cross section parallel to the surface of the disc that is pressed.
